I am a British girl living abroad in the sunny Algarve in the South of Portugal.

After living here for a few years I have seen, been and experienced more than my fair share of life as a Brit abroad and although I am based in the Algarve, I am assured that many of the characters, heroes and villains I have come across can be found in other enclaves around the world.

There are lots of stereotypes about Brits abroad and to be honest lots of them are true and on this blog I will be sharing some of my encounters and experiences.
